Bulgaria Day 3: Seeing Ruins For the First Time

August 07, 2014 in Travel

On Day 3, we headed to the town of Plovdiv, an old Roman merchant center along the Silk Road. I saw Roman ruins for the first time of my life, and it’s amazing to think that I was walking on thousands of years of history.

We headed to Bansko that night, a famous ski town, and had amazing wine, food, and company. Definitely a highlight of the trip being serenaded to.
