Sometimes when you have way too much going on or you can’t manage the holiday rush, but you still want to show your friends and family that you care, making holiday treats is a great idea, especially when you can get them all done in one day!
My favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe is from the Food Network - it’s definitely more cakey than other recipes, and I think the amount/both types of sugar (brown and white) used in the recipe attributes to the different texture. And if you don’t eat them fresh, they become as hard as a rock in a few days.
The tins can actually be found at Dollar Tree! They’re a godsend when it comes to putting little knickknacks and gifts together. I always find these holiday tins during the holidays, so even if you don’t make chocolate chip cookies, you can place your signature treat in the tins for a festive look.
