This past weekend, Jonathan and his roommate took me to the Well Fleet Oysterfest on the Cape! We ate oyster… after oyster… after oyster…

Jonathan and I demolished a total of 36 oysters. That’s a pretty legitimate number.

One of my favorite brunch dishes: fall vegetable hash. The best hash I had was at Lineage in Coolidge Corner, Boston - and I was lucky enough to find the recipe online by Jeremy Sewall himself! Ever since I moved to Boston, I always dreamed of dancing in the fall leaves and eating fresh apples from the trees. After three years, my dream finally came true - I got the chance to visit my girlfriend in Maine, and she took me to an apple orchard! The orchard was literally called The Apple Farm - I guess they weren’t really creative.

At the orchard, I was more giddy than the 6 year-olds who were there… It’s not my fault I have never been on a hay ride! But the best part of my day was when my girlfriend made a fresh apple pie with the apples we picked earlier in the day. Oh my goodness, I felt like I was in heaven.

I think I ate half the pie…
